Frequently asked questions

Here are some common questions about our company.

(Product ships in plain white poly-lined paper bags or super sacks)

CLINOFILTER™ is intended for use as technological feed additives (anti-caking and flow-enhancing agents) in accordance with recognized feed manufacturing practices and applicable regulatory frameworks.

All users and purchasers are strongly advised to consult a qualified animal nutritionist, veterinarian, or feed formulation specialist before incorporating CLINOFILTER™  into any feed program. Proper dosage, blending, and handling should be determined by a professional familiar with your feed system.

Performance outcomes may vary depending on formulation, raw material interactions, processing conditions, environmental factors, and animal species.

A naturally occurring aluminosilicate (“clinoptilolite zeolite”) with a porous crystal structure that adsorbs moisture and cations like ammonium, lead, mercury and many other toxins.

Run a before/after mill trial and measure:

  • Angle of Repose (lower = better flow)
  • Bulk/Tapped Density (for Carr/Hausner)
  • Hopper discharge time/bridging events
  • Pellet Durability Index (PDI) / fines
  • Moisture and lump count in storage

Yes. It’s thermally stable and generally non-reactive at typical processing temperatures. Verify pellet durability and fines in your own mill run.

Most mills trial 0.5–1.5% for flow/anti-caking, then optimize by feed type, humidity, and process. Always follow your product label and local regulatory conditions of use.

Yes. The National Organic Program (NOP) standards allow feed supplements and additives to contain naturally mined minerals (§205.237(a)) and some synthetics (§205.603(d)(2) “when FDA approved.”). While the FDA considers zeolites to be GRAS (Generally Regarded as Safe), zeolite in feed is permitted as a flow agent only (see §§582.2122, .2727, and .2729). Furthermore, the FDA regulations limit the use of the three common zeolite forms to only 2% of the total feed ration, and restrict the allowance for the purposes of anti-caking only.

It may adsorb some portion of desired compounds as well as unwanted ones; compatibility should be checked for your premix (enzymes, vitamins, coccidiostats, etc.).

CLINOFILTER™ is available in several grades. Typically it is sold as finely pulverized powder, air-classified to 90% passing 50µm. Other sizes include: 200µm, 20µm, 15µm, 10µm.

No. Performance varies by formula, process, and environment. All statements are informational, not legally binding guarantees. Use only as labeled and as permitted by your local regulations.
