With so many applications, clinoptilolite is extremely versatile
Applications range from environmental catalysis and CO2 removal to industrial and agricultural wastewater purification, aquaculture, animal feeding, and food industry but also medical applications and energy storage systems. This is not an exhaustive list, but this review covers some of the many applications that have been demonstrated by research.
Furthermore clinoptilolite is used in practice as a pozzolan, a filler and enhancer of rubber, plastics, coatings an paints, as well as a heat-reducing fill for synthetic turf.
